ETFE的英文為:ethylene-tetra-fluoro-ethylene,中文全稱為:乙烯-四氟乙烯共聚物,俗稱:F-40。
ETFE 是強(qiáng)韌的氟塑料,它在保持了PTFE 良好的耐熱、耐化學(xué)性能和電絕緣性能的同時(shí),耐輻射和機(jī)械性能有很大程度的改善,拉伸強(qiáng)度可達(dá)到50MPa,接近聚四氟乙烯的2倍。
ETFE是一種堅(jiān)韌的材料,各種機(jī)械性能達(dá)到較好的平衡——抗撕拉極強(qiáng)、抗張強(qiáng)度高、中等硬度、出色的抗沖擊能力、伸縮壽命長(zhǎng)。ETFE是良好的電介質(zhì)材料,絕緣強(qiáng)度高,介電常數(shù)為2.6,電阻率高,耗散因數(shù)低,僅為0.003。其低介電常數(shù),在頻率和溫度變化的情況下基本恒定。ETFE的使用溫度范圍較實(shí)用較廣,恒定溫度通常設(shè)定為-65°C 到 +150°C之間,在超低溫時(shí)仍堅(jiān)硬非凡,其脆化溫度低至-100°C。另外,ETFE還通過(guò)了幾項(xiàng)嚴(yán)格的抗燃測(cè)試,如IEEE 383,并獲得UL 94 V-0等級(jí)。對(duì)大多數(shù)化學(xué)物質(zhì)的物理屬性影響小,對(duì)普通氣體和水氣的滲透性低。
